Community Emergency Response Team

The La Habra Police Department, in conjunction with Los Angeles County Fire Department, is proud to present this training to the La Habra public. The program was developed to provide basic training in safety and life saving skills, should there be a major disaster.

Following a major disaster, police, fire and medical professionals may not be able to fully meet the demand for service. People will have to rely on each other in order to meet life saving and life sustaining needs, particularly in neighborhoods that may be cut off from main roads for a period of time.
