Outdoor Play Pass is back just in time for Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America Day on Tuesday, March 2nd! Families will experience engaging, immersive, and educational programming specifically focusing on literacy. Who says literacy is just reading a book?! Along with a short storytelling session we will have interactive activities to introduce your little one to letter recognition while using their large & fine motor AND cognitive skills!
Space is limited to 10 families and is by reservation only.

Is there a fee for Play Pass?
-Yes. Only children 2-12 years old pay- that means adults are free! $5 per CMLH child/ $10 per general public child
What kinds of activities will you have?
-This Play Pass will focus on literacy and Read Across America Day!
Will I be allowed inside the Museum?
- No, Play Pass activities will take place entirely outside. We thank you for your patience and ask that you watch this space for reopening announcements and on-line reserved ticketing for our indoor space and galleries.
Will I be allowed to use the restrooms inside the Museum?
- Unfortunately no, but there are restrooms available in the Portola Park.

What kind of Covid-19 precautions should we expect?
-Families will have their own shade canopy for their family group to make, create, learn, and maintain safe social distancing.
-We ask that guests 5 years and older wear a face mask.
-Museum staff and volunteers will also wear masks. In addition, we utilize contact-less reservations and will be sanitizing all materials after each use.
