It’s time to register for the City of La Habra Community Services Department’s six-week “Spike It Up” Winter Youth Volleyball league. This activity is open to boys and girls ages eight through 13. The cost is $45 for the first child in a family, and $40 for any additional children in the same family; you must sign up family members at the same time in order to receive the family discount. The cost of the activity includes a jersey and a trophy. All games will be held on Saturday mornings, beginning on February 7, 2016, at the La Habra Boys & Girls Club gym, 1211 Fahringer Way. Practice times will be on weekday afternoons or evenings, as determined by individual coaches; if you’d like to coach a team, please contact Bernard Nolen at 562-383-4210 or bnolen@lahabraca.gov.
