Jacob Wielenga was hired in November 2024 as a full-time Associate Planner after working for the City as a Contract Planner since March 2024. Previous to the City of La Habra, he worked as an Assistant Planner and Project Manager in San Luis Obispo County, where he worked on entitling and permitting various residential and commercial projects. Prior to his career in the planning field, Jacob graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor’s degree in City and Regional Planning and a minor in Architecture. In his free time, Jacob likes to travel, snowboard and watch movies.
