The City of La Habra is committed to minimizing the pollutants that enter its storm drain system. Every resident should know that water that enters the storm drains is not treated and is discharged directly into nearby channels, creeks and ultimately the ocean.
The countywide effort found at H2OC Stormwater Program includes several resources and information on over watering, and Orange County Watersheds. These are are implemented with the goal of assisting City residents and businesses in their understanding of how they can use easy Best Management Practices to reduce pollutants that enter the storm drain system.
