Brownie Girl Scouts

Let us help you earn a badge or complete your leadership journey! The Museum offers 45-minute workshops and overnight adventures too!

Overnight Camp-outs

Overnight camp-outs geared to Brownie Girl Scout troops! Girls will participate in gallery activities, enjoy a close-up behind the scenes critter encounter, and then end the night cozy in their sleeping bags in their favorite part of the Museum! Email Ksmith@lahabraca.gov if interested in scheduling overnight for your troop!

Badge Workshops

Let us help you on your Girl Scout journey! Our 90 minute tours align with Daisy, Brownie, and Junior badge requirements. Your personal museum guide will tour you through selected galleries, and then you’ll finish with a hands-on activity. After your tour, you and your troop are welcome to enjoy the rest of the museum at your own pace.

$25 per scout (First chaperone free). Includes Children’s Museum fun patch. Additional visitors 2 years and older pay regular Museum admission ($12/person). Minimum 10 people. Contact Kristine Smith ksmith@lahabraca.gov for reservations.

G.I.R.L.-ography: Scouts are Go-getters, Innovators, Risk-takers, and Leaders, and you all have a unique story. We’ll learn how girls around the world live and then create our own stories.

Conservation Kids We’ll talk about recycling and saving water, then engineer a water pipeline and make an herb planter out of a plastic bottle!

Little Bugs, Big Difference! Learn about the 6-legged critters that share our planet with us. We’ll meet several live bugs up close and then create an insect habitat to take home.
