Our membership program offers the opportunity for you and your youngest family members the ability to learn, grow and explore all year long! We offer a variety of different membership packages to help fit the size of your family.
Memberships can be purchased online or in person at our Visitor Services desk at any time throughout the year. Please be advised that for memberships purchased online, The Children's Museum does not mail membership cards to the recipient. Membership cards are issued on the day of activation upon your first visit.
Any time you visit the Museum, the admission portion of your sale may be applied towards the purchase of a membership. This offer is only valid on the initial day of admission purchase.
Before joining, please be advised that our memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

ASTC Passport Program
The Children's Museum at La Habra is a part of the ASTC Passport Program which gives eligible benefits such as free general admission to other participating museums under the same program. The ASTC program is dedicated to increasing the understanding of and engagement with science and technology among all people.
Please Be Advised of the Restrictions of this Program:
- A participating museum or science center that you would like to visit must be outside of a 90 mile radius from your home museum that you purchased your membership from.
- The Children's Museum at La Habra offers free admission under this program for up to 4 guests only despite the allocated admittance under which your home museum membership originally allows.
To Use Your ASTC Benefits at The Children's Museum:
- Verify that your home museum is outside of the 90 mile radius requirement.
- Bring your ID for proof of residence and verification.
- Bring your membership card or e-membership for proof of ASTC benefits.

The Children's Museum at La Habra is dedicated to opening our doors and encouraging learn through play for all little ones and their families. This membership offers all the same benefits of the Caboose Pass at a reduced price for families who qualify.
Access Membership is available for current participants in these programs:
- CalFresh Program/ Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
To purchase this membership, please bring proof of eligibility along with your ID and visit us during open hours and speak with any Visitor Services Assistant.

- Can my daily admission be used towards a membership?

Yes, the initial admission you paid may be used towards any of our membership tiers. However, this offer is only available on the day you purchase admission.
- How long does my membership last?

Memberships last for one year from the day of purchase or activation.
- Can I upgrade my membership?

Yes, you may upgrade your membership at anytime. Please note that upgrading will require you to pay the difference between your current membership and the membership you wish to upgrade to, and it does not extend the length of your membership.
- How many people can I bring in with my membership?

The number of guests permitted into the Museum depends on the membership tier you decide to purchase. Each membership tier allows admission for a certain number of guests per visit.
Conductor allows admission for the Cardholder (or additional user) and 1 guest
Caboose allows admission for the Cardholder (or additional user) and 3 guests
Engineer allows admission for the Cardholder (or additional user) and 5 guests
Freight allows admission for the Cardholder (or additional user) and 9 guests
- Can my child be the main cardholder?

Unfortunately no. Cardholders and additional users must be 18 years of age or older. Children are considered a guest under each membership.
- What is an additional user?

An additional user is anyone that is granted access by the main cardholder to use their membership when they are absent. At each visit, either the main cardholder or the additional user must be present.
- Can I have more than one additional user for my membership?

Each membership only offers one additional user aside from the main cardholder. The additional user can be switched to someone else only once per year.
- Can my child be the additional user?

Unfortunately no. The additional user must be 18 years of age or older. Children are considered a guest under each membership.
- What is the ASTC program?

The Children's Museum at La Habra is a proud participant in the ASTC program, or Association of Science and Technology Centers, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to increasing the understanding of and engagement with science and technology among all people. Under the ASTC program, participating museums offer free admission for members of other participating museums. Please be advised that the museum you would like to visit MUST be outside of a 90 mile radius from your home membership.
