Children's Museum Scholarship Programs
The Children's Museum provides scholarship programs to local Title 1 schools when funding is available. Program availability is subject to funding and includes free admission to the museum. Transportation is not covered. If you are interested in being placed on an interest list please email Kristine Smith, Education & Outreach Coordinator.
Our current scholarship tour is a water-conservation themed experience called BLUE PLANET HEROES. On this 90-minute tour, students will visit select galleries, and then conclude with a 30-minute, age-appropriate hands-on activity. Where does our water supply come from? What is a watershed? What is water conservation and how can we promote it in our school, home, and community? These are the themes and questions that we will explore on our journey to become Blue Planet Heroes!
For more information, please submit our tour request form, or email Kristine Smith, Education & Outreach Coordinator.
