Social & Senior Services

The Social Services Division is responsible for administering and providing for the delivery of the City's various directly-operated and brokered senior and social service programs. Referrals, assistance and services are available for senior citizens and those in need.

Current programming includes the following activities:

  • Information and Referral
  • La Habra Shuttle Transportation
  • CSS Senior Lunch Program
  • CSS Before Lunch Bingo
  • Meals on Wheels (MOW)
  • Health Fair and flu shots for seniors
  • Legal Aid
  • Free classes for older adults, which include Tai Chi, Health & Wellness (exercise), and Painting with Israel
  • Free Senior Movie weekly (Wednesdays)
  • Shelter and food referrals
  • General social services information for Orange County can be obtained by calling, toll free 211 or 888-600-4357 or visiting the 211 website.
