The City of La Habra received a grant from the State of California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle). The purpose of the grant is to promote markets for Rubberized Asphalt Concrete (RAC) products with crumb rubber derived from only California-generated waste tires.

The Grant used RAC on the recent Euclid repaving project completed in February, 2025; the recent Monte Vista Street repaving project which completed on October 31, 2024; and the Residential Street Rehab Project which completed on December 30, 2023.

These projects were funded by a Grant from CalRecycle.
